• To pool high-level and multidisciplinary expertise,
• To develop a new methodological corpus integrating human and social sciences with the fundamental scientific and technical disciplines inherent in the extractive sector,
• To carry out concrete case studies on the dynamics existing between the mineral industry and its territory, by applying and enriching this new methodological corpus,
• To train at different levels (initial training, further training, training of trainers) to reinforce knowledge, skills and know-how,
• To keep informed all the players in the mineral industry (mines, quarries), and inclusive of all stakeholders
• To establish an access portal to Research and Training skills
• To create a wider network of partners, particularly internationally, to increase feedback and enhance the expertise of the Chair.
