The Chair is ruled by four governing bodies – a General Assembly, a Policy Committee, a Steering Committee, and an Ethics Committee – of which the operating procedures are summarised in the tables below:

The general conditions of organisation and operation of the Chair are subject to an Agreement, signed by the partners and the Founding Schools, and, where appropriate, their guardians. Two formats are established for this agreement, respectively aimed at Patrons and Members:
• For the Patrons, a joint agreement uniting all the patrons, the four Founding Schools and the Mines-Telecom Foundation;
• For the Members, a simplified agreement, established between each member and the Mines-Telecom Foundation.
